Hurts' New Single "Miracle" Sounds Like Coldplay

Sometimes you sit and listen to a new song, and you're all, wait, this sounds like an old song. This is one of those times. Para-para-paradise. Cause's I'm looking for a miracle. Cause I'm looking for a miracle. (Throw in a dash of "Princess Of China" while you're at it.)



Can we go back to the "All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day" sound, Hurts?

    One thing that can be said, Hurts has studied the last 20 years of brit-pop. I hear Suede in there somewhere, a dash of Keane, and sprinkle some coldplay, and toss in a minor key and a few synths. Serve very, very cold.
