Twenty years ago this week, Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle's Aladdin theme song "A Whole New World" was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
A snoozefest, for sure. But now we have this shit, which makes me want to power-drill my face.

Yeah, Robbie -- you're the worst!!! ;o) Kidding. Around that time, on some charts, "A Whole New World" replaced Duran Duran's "Ordinary World" at the top -- WORDPLAY! This struck me as significant and very cool as a kid -- gawd, I was a nerd.
