Lady Gaga's "Mary Jane Holland" Isn't Subtle

There's a triumphant-sounding bit in "Mary Jane Holland," the latest track from ARTPOP to be previewed, where Lady Gaga declares that she — or rather the narrator of this particular tale — is "rich as piss." The synth chords beneath sound like they should be blaring during a winning moment in a Rocky film, and the whole track is reminiscent of "Heavy Metal Lover," one of the best jams on Born This Way (an album, mind you, fraught with non-jams).

So far we've yet to hear an abysmal track from this album. Sorry, Prism.
