Alphabeat's Stine Bramsen Embarks On Solo Career With "Prototypical": Watch A Rad Live Clip

Alphabeat's second album The Spell (or, as it was called in the UK, The Beat Is...) is top tier pop in my opinion, and while follow-up Express Non-Stop didn't have quite as many Black Box references, you should be more than mildly interested in what the Danish band's frontdoll Stine Bramsen is up to in 2014.

For starters, she has a solo album coming. (Don't worry — Alphabeat are merely taking a break for a moment.) Lead single "Prototypical" is being showcased via the below live clip, beautifully staged in studio with a full band and troop of backing vocalists.

Surprisingly, "Prototypical" sounds very Adele-esque, and very promising.

Pretty damn impressive, and you're on the money with the Adele comparison. This is instantly the most of-the-moment thing to come out of Alphabeat. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE the first two albums, but they never fully fit into the market.

Yeah, it's good, right? Really curious to see how the rest of the material plays out.
