The Grammy Awards Surprisingly Didn't Suck: A Few Random Access Memories We'll All Have

For the first time in...ever?...the Grammy Award didn't suck beyond belief. Don't get me wrong — it was still an semi-shit show with painful (Taylor Swift headbanging through whatever boring ballad she's shilling now), when-will-this-goddamn-trash-finally-end moments (da FUCK was that Metallica x Lang Lang shit?) where I thought I was on the bullet train to scorching Hell (Willie Nelson and those other corpses grunting out for Metamucil on stage). But amidst the garbage were a few salvageable segments!

1. I'm fucking glad Daft Punk won all the Grammys (five) they were up for. Good for them getting Album Of The Year, too. Seriously, can you imagine if Sara Bareilles had won? Nothing against her, but that broad did not put together the album of 2013.

2. Taylor Swift's face when she thought presenter Yoko Ono called out Red for Album Of The Year, rather than Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Sorry, girl. Sit your ass down.

3. I actually loved the whole Macklemore/Queen Latifah/Madonna/Mary Lambert/gay marriage ceremony spectacle. Mostly because I think Macklemore is hot white trash I'm praying to have a 12-hour marathon bang fest with. And also because Madonna and Macklemore hugged. And Madge and Queen Latifah kissed. And Keith Urban cried. It was great.

4. Daft Punk's performance of "Get Lucky" with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder turned the Staples Center into an all-out party. There was so much Nile Rodgers on Grammy night, and that can never be a bad thing.
