Will Lady Gaga's Epic "G.U.Y. - An ARTPOP Film" Video Turn The Album's Ship Around?

Say what you want about Lady Gaga's third LP ARTPOP (and I've said plenty, about both the album upon its fall release and it's current, limbo-like state): The "G.U.Y." video is pretty stunning.

And, no, I'm not just saying that because, shit you not, Michael Jackson springs up out of a coffin in this fantastically trashy clip.

(Althought, seriously...WHAT THE FUCK WITH THAT?!)

Rather, this 11-minute epic has all the hallmarks of a Gaga classic: A grandiose, ambitious theme; solid dancing; fantastic costumes; a beauttiful location; and lots of skin.

This time, it all comes together and works, as opposed to the overly-pretentious "Marry The Night" video from a few years back.

"G.U.Y." feels like the first right move Gaga herself has made with regards to ARTPOP. I still think the album is pretty great, if not a bit of a grower. But this video (and song choice) signal that this bitch is finally getting back to what made her exciting in the first place.

Oh, and there are hags from the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in here too, looking perfectly, marvelously ridiculous. Bravo!
