US Chart Roundup: Justin Timberlake Has Another Big Hit, Lana Del Rey Debuts Impressively

Justin Timberlake finally lands a decent-sized hit off The 20/20 Experience - 2 Of 2, with the album's third single "Not A Bad Thing." The song climbs four positions to #8 this week, giving Justin his first Top 10 single as a lead artist since "Mirrors" peaked at #2 last spring. (Jay Z's Timberlake-featuring "Holy Grail" also made it to #4 in 2013.) Prior to that, 20/20 - 2 Of 2's ho-hum singles "Take Back The Night" and "TKO" charted at #29 and #36, respectively.

Outside of the Top 10, Lana Del Rey's lead Ultraviolence single, the spectacular surf rock trash jam "West Coast, enters the chart at #17. This broad just keeps getting classier and classier.

Just below that, Australian rapstress Iggy Azalea and British singer Charli XCX climb to #18 with "Fancy." This trash is basically Eve and Gwen's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" and "Rich Girl" re-fried, but I like the Clueless-themed video.

That leaves us with Calvin Harris' "Summer," which inches closer to the Top 40 (this week at #44), and Disclosure and Sam Smith's "Latch," a song that manages to catapult 20 spots to #59.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "Happy" - Pharrell Williams *9 weeks*
2. "All Of Me" - John Legend
3. "Talk Dirty" - Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz
4. "Dark Horse" - Katy Perry feat. Juicy J
5. "Let It Go" - Idina Menzel
6. "Pompeii" - Bastille
7. "Turn Down For What" - DJ Snake & Lil Jon
8. "Not A Bad Thing" - Justin Timberlake
9. "Loyal" - Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne & French Montana
10. "Team" - Lorde

I don't think that is the official West Coast video - ubt I do agree - this chick is the real thing, despite her detractors. And she doesn't do press up the ass like Gaga which always comes back to bite you in the ass. Her music is all you need!

I want to love "West Coast" but I don't, although I'm a total Stana Del Rey! Please, Lizzy Grant, SLAY US with the rest of the album!
