US Chart Roundup: You All Need To Listen To (And Buy) Betty Who's 'Slow Dancing' EP

So the first seven positions in the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 chart have remained the exact same for three weeks — a record in the chart's history. And that, chyldryn, is because not much new and noteworthy has come along in 2014. Hence the Frozen soundtrack topping the album chart for 10 weeks and counting. At this point, I'd like to shove an icicle up my icebox.

One new release you should all be checking out, however, is Betty Who's Slow Dancing EP. It debuted at #57 on the Billboard 200, and judging by the quality of the five songs contained here, it should be so much higher. It's the type of pop they just don't make anymore...and yet, here's Betty Who, doing it for the kids.

Let's hope she doesn't stop, and that this EP climbs higher as 2014 trudges on.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "Happy" - Pharrell Williams *8 weeks*
2. "All Of Me" - John Legend
3. "Dark Horse" - Katy Perry feat. Juicy J
4. "Talk Dirty" - Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz
5. "Let It Go" - Idina Menzel
6. "Pompeii" - Bastille
7. "Team" - Lorde
8. "Turn Down For What" - DJ Snake & Lil Jon
9. "The Man" - Aloe Blacc
10. "Counting Stars" - OneRepublic
