La Roux Return With "Let Me Down Gently" Single, 'Trouble In Paradise' Album Announcement

It seems like a 80 years ago when La Roux first arrived with "In For The Kill" and "Bulletproof" and all that jazz, but really it was only five. After a molto lungo resto, Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid (possibly?) are back with "Let Me Down Gently," the lead single off her/their sophomore album Trouble In Paradise.

The album is out July 7. The single, in all it's Katy B "Crying For No Reason"-esque synth power ballad glory, is available now.

The first album was pretty much a classic, and so far so good with this trash.

Wow, it's about time! The first album was really very good with quite a few good songs. I wondered what happened to them.

Do you realize when the first album was out, no one knew who Lady Gaga was and Katy Perry had a couple of hits under her belt?

This and "Crying for No Reason" have got me listening to Exposé's freestyle-power ballad proto-jam "Let Me Be the One." I'm not complaining.
